Edit a slideshow or carousel

Find the source first
Select the slideshow in Layers. Inspect whether it is an instance, a native slideshow or a collection-driven component. For an instance, review its exposed properties before editing the main component. For a CMS list, change the connected item's image rather than replacing a generated slide on the canvas.
Replace a slide
Use the selected image or image property's picker to upload your marketing preview. Keep a consistent source size; Soidesmax previews use 1600 × 1200 (4:3). Use Fit/contain when the whole image must remain visible. Fill/cover crops an image to occupy a frame, so it is unsuitable for a screenshot whose edges matter.
Keep the layout stable
Retain a fixed 4:3 frame across slides. Let the image fit inside it with its original proportions. Different image ratios may leave space around the image; stretching or cropping would change the content. Check all slides, not only the cover.
Test interaction
Use previous/next, first/last wraparound and thumbnails where provided. Check touch interaction and visible keyboard focus. Make sure controls do not hide essential text in the picture. If autoplay exists, verify the available pause and reduced-motion behavior.
If something is not editable
Return to Layers and inspect the component's source and properties. Ask the template author for component-specific instructions rather than detaching every instance.
